This masterpiece is named Buddha's love story with summary of the main events
that Buddha faces in his life. This is the artisan's personal masterpiece inspired from studying the holy book of Tripitaka. The artisan Suresh Lawot Tuladhar from Nepal started carving when he was 11 years old, a skill passed down from generations in his family. Suresh has won a national award from government organizations like Nepal Academy of Fine Art (NAFA). The awards are National Fine Art Award in Traditional Sculpture 2020 and National Award 2022 for Special Traditional Sculpture.
This particular piece has a small piece of wood chipped at the bottom during the shipment. But overall it still remains a masterpiece

Materials used for such carvings are wood - Camfhor wood, Mikala wood, Champaka wood,
soriyo robasta etc. These are soft wood and easy to carve. I buy them from sawmills nearby.
Care
The statue can be cleaned with dry cloth every week to avoid accumulation of dust.
