Saloni Shrestha is a Parsons The new School New York trained fashion designer with over 15 years of experience in couture and ready-to-wear. She received advanced training at renowned fashion houses including Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, and Naeem Khan, honing her expertise in design and craftsmanship.
Her creations have been celebrated in Teen Vogue, LA Magazine, Martha Stewart, and San Francisco Chronicle, and have reached the wardrobes of global tastemakers, including Jennifer Lopez. She has also presented AGAATI at New York Fashion Week, showcasing her distinctive, artisanal approach to a global audience.
A native of the Himalayas, Saloni draws inspiration from nature, vibrant textiles, and diverse cultures, translating them into one-of-a-kind womenswear that bridges artistry and modern luxury.
As founder of AGAATI, she champions sustainability and global artisan craftsmanship, creating designs that empower women, connect communities, and inspire conscious living. Through initiatives like the Global Eco Artisan Awards, Saloni brings India’s artisans to the world stage.
