This beautiful necklace is designed by Françoise Bergaglia from Paris. She is a professional ceramist who is passionate about her material oriented to interior design and jewelry.
The design inspiration of this necklace is inspired by nature and is composed of tubes, long pendants and two shells all in porcelain, totally handmade. The shells are modelled with an original mould, done by Francoise, from a real shell picked up on the beach in Britanny. This design is a sea inspiration, using no resources of the sea (corals and shells). The porcelain evocation is strong enough to suggest the sea while preserving its resources. The setting in brass is shaped by hand and closed with a very traditional and very simple system: eyelet and swan neck.
Françoise was a finalist at the Global Eco Artisan Awards organised by AGAATI.
As a part of promoting artisans work AGAATI gives back 100% of the sales to Francoise for this necklace.
